I recently decided to dig up my entire garden in March of last year. I planted hydrangeas all around my house about 2 feet apart, and about 2 feet fro the house. I wanted a very clustered look, cape cod feel with a typical 4 foot height maximum on my hydrangeas. The type of hydrangeas I have look almost like Endless Summer though I know they are not. I got them at Lowes 2.5 gallon(or qrt I don’t know normal sizing just thinking of container size in my head.)
For my ideal long term look of 4 feet tall and about 3 feet wide clustered, did I plant them too close so that they would fight for nutrients? Thanks, it’s been really bothering me.
