Aphids? What to do. #211984

Are these aphids? I have a bunch on my kale/cabbage plants. All the lady bugs in my backyard left after the flowers had stopped blooming.

Yes, these are aphids and once the population gets this large predators like lady beetles won't be able to suppress it. Insecticidal soap is the best and safest approach for home gardens to control aphids.
