Without a picture, it is difficult to assess the problem. These trees are susceptible to a number of problems as outlined in the following website. Please send pictures of the entire tree, a complete branch and a closeup of the needles that are just turning yellow next to healthy needles.

Because I can see no spots or partially colored needles or abnormalities, this appears to be seasonal needle drop. This is common on white pines. See: http://apps.extension.umn.edu/garden/diagnose/plant/evergreen/pine/needlesolderdiscolored.html
