I’m having a similar issue to the other woman who had asked about bird mites in her nostrils. It started after I found a dead rat in my yard behind my bedroom window. It’s been going on for over 2.5 years. Permethrin cream so far was the most helpful, but only while the cream was on me and within 12 hours after applying it (they stayed off of me); vacuuming twice daily helps to an extent. They are far from being eradicated. I believe they are most attracted to my nose/nostrils and chin because of the carbon dioxide I emit. I also believe they “tagged” my pheromones and as soon as they sense them, they begin attacking me. They bite day (work and home) and night (home), mostly when I sit or lay down. I feel their pinprick bites, (then the red bumps appear, see pics). I have more photographic evidence supporting this. Please help!
