I have 2 miniature lemon trees, each of which has 1 fruit on it. Unfortunately one of the trees has few leaves, and they appear to be suffering from some kind of blight or parasite. I'm sending 2 pictures (if it will allow me to send 2) of the leaf that fell today: one of the top of the leaf and one of the bottom. I use a moisture meter to determine whether or not to water these plants -- usually once every 1-2 weeks, and they are in front of a west-facing window. Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Good afternoon. I have a tropical plant, Ahouai Thevetia or Thevetia Ahouai it has a yellow buds on it but it gets black before it opens up. Can you tell mew what's wrong with it and what I can do so I can get rid of whatever the black fungus or whatever is on the plant. Greetings, I am following up on my previous post about this subject, as the previously posted message did not accept submissions any more due to site relocation to a new platform. Attached are images of the dying tree showing signs of wilting. U MD horticultural experts indicated in their previous expert answer that it might be Verticillium wilt, but could not exactly diagnose based on the pictures. The tree was cut off today. I am now attaching an image of the cross section with a dark brown center. Is this cross section view sufficient for a diagnosis? Otherwise, I can mail a sample of the center rotten wood. My evergreen was a small tree and transplanted about five years ago. I have fertilized it annually. This winter about four branches are void of needles but they are still bendable. I am attaching a photo. Could you please help my tree with next steps? Thanks. Gayle Kelly

We have an old oak that was a bit damaged in construction. It is doing okay, but we want to be careful. What can you tell me about what can be planted under this tree within the drip line that won't bother the roots? Dirt? Mulch? Grass? Ground covers with shallow roots? Do you have any recommendations for ground covers that would be good in this situation? The area in front of the tree is full sun; in back it is quite shady. Thank you very much.
